Not Worth The Fee

We paid for a full hookup, sewer, water, electric, $32.95. There are NO functional sewer hook-ups. We tried and tried to get the sewer cap off before another camper said that none of them work. The roads are so narrow and broken that it's impossible for an rv to drive them without driving off the sides. The sites are dirt and not maintained. Most sites are not level. The springs are nice but we paid for camping, with FULL HOOK-UPS not swimming. This state park needs to lower its fees or get to work and improve it. Had an emergency at 3a.m. and had to leave. That's when we found out that there are no signs for an exit. None. Drove in a circle twice before we found the exit. Not a happy camper.

Beautiful But Rustic

I tent camped for most of my life, but now I’m in a Class C RV. This campground was very nice with more tent campers than RVs. It has around 7 sites with 50 amps and sewer connections, but the connections are a bit rustic and could use updating. Maybe 4 sites pull through, most back in and able to accommodate 35 feet except a couple could take bigger. I used a 30 amp site back in no sewer. I’m 25 feet long and had maybe 15 feet to the road. Did use dump station when I left, again a bit rustic needs update. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Most sites iffy on being level or not. Blue Springs were wonderful but cold. I enjoyed staying here and would come back.

We spent Thanksgiving 2015 in this State Park. Its just beautiful. The have 7 Full hook up sites. Leveling can be a little tricky. Besides that the Park is well keept up and sooo peaceful once the weather does not allow for bathing in the natural springs there anymore. The area has a lt of historic seights and its just a little over an hour drive to awesome Providence Canyon State park for a breathtaking view and hike.
