Nice

I was skeptical based off of reviews, however the RV PARK is very nice. It is located just across the street from the beach and sunset park which is a nice place to eat lunch or dinner and as the park says watch the sunset. The park isn’t concrete but gravel and pretty level. The owners were super friendly. The rest rooms/showers were very clean like so clean I was impressed. The only downfall is the space it’s very tight and virtually no where to put your vehicle that wouldn’t be in the way after parking your trailer. Overall I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to friends!

Excellent

We were there the first week of March 2022. First time here but not our last. Very clean restrooms and showers. Staff in office were very nice and great to work with. Staff outside were very helpful. Sites were nice and directly across the road from the beach. Area is still rebuilding after hurricane. Motel may open in fall. We stayed a week and would love to have stayed longer. Reasonably priced for so close to the beach.

El Governor Is Nice

This campground has been around for years, however due to Hurricane Michael everything is brand new. Spots are tight for some and parking your truck is tough in spots. But this is a super place to stay and the beach is right across the street. Owners/staff are very helpful and super nice. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed.

Going To The coast

First time staying here. Campground is very clean. Sites are easy to get to. A little close. Areas designated for pets. Showers, rest rooms and laundry room were extremely clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rules on pets are strict. Grilling area and fire pit. Is across Hwy 98 from El Governor Hotel and the beach. Great location for price. We’ll be back. Area still recovering from Hurricane but we still spent time on beach.

Hi I was wondering if they are closed due to hurricane Michael or if they sustained damages.

Favorite Beach Location

Love this rv park. Very friendly folks and helpful. Great location to the beach and access to the motel pool. We have been staying here for two years now and plan to continue to make it a yearly vacation spot. Highly recommend this rv park.

Spent 2 nights. Beach is very close. Some sites are tight but overall this is a nice place. Met several people that spend two weeks to three months at this park every year.

Very Unfriendly

Great location, decent facilities, the rudest people (owners) I've met in decades. I would never stay there again, even if you paid me.

EL GOVERNOR RV.

We stayed a month in November 2016. Love it .Staff was very nice weather was cool in mornings wormed up by mid day. Clean.free Ice, thay have a full kitchen i used severl times very nice. Thay have pot luck on weekend very nice .To top it all off the beach is only about 500 hundred feet with white sand very very clean uI recommend this park very highly.It spoiled me. H ard for me to find a place i like.

Disappointed

Had to cut our stay short by 2 days. They would not refund or credit. Told me it was too hard to do the book keeping for refunds.

Great Place. Great People

Nice central location. Have all amenities of hotel across street. Very low key park.

We stayed here several times during the summer of 16. It is a great place.
