We live in Louisiana and very excited. We plan full hookups. This is out first real rv trip to the mountains in Idaho. Planning June/July of 2024 what kind of weather should we expect? Should we experience attitude problems. We will be traveling as a couple with our senior dog. Also looking at the prices more expensive than our southern campgrounds. Our final destination from Lake Priest Campground will be Bonners Ferry. We are looking forward to new experiences. Should we bring bear spray? We will be traveling with our sr dog. What kind of weather should we expect? Thank you guys for answering all questions.

Nice! Very Remote.
Not a lot of things going on in the area so come prepared to relax. Sites have some very tall pines but not a real lot of privacy between some of them. Some sites also have water, electric and sewer! Beautiful lake. Nice beach and dock, but not ideal for fishing as there are no railings. They had strong winds a couple of weeks ago and took down many of there trees in one of the loops. Good showers and bathrooms. Has nice gift shop and store. Even gas is available for boats.

What A Great Place
Went here beginning of June. Wonderful setting, awesome beach for the kids, little store at the front with everything you need and two dump stations. Will be back for sure!
