Avoid The Camp Host

Nice place - however between the trains traveling all through the night and the very rude camp host, we will find another camping spot. The Camp host was very rude and disrespectful of some guests that came to visit us while we were staying. Made a nice camping getaway a stressful shouting match with the camp host. Pass this one up, there are better camping spots.

Nice Place But

They care more about the grass than the restrooms that were trashed and out of order

Stayed here in a tent and also in 28 foot trailer. Very nice tons of shade. Staff is great. Location can't be beat. Showers are dated. They need more restrooms / shower when it is busy ( only one ). My site was a bit uneven from front to back and required ever inch on my jack to get level.

Nice Park Overall.

We stayed 3 days at Mary's campground I had no problem getting a reservation. Had a very big site for my 43ft motorhome towing a 24ft enclosed car trailer. No issues getting into the park, or crossing the bridge. Nice big grassy site. Had shade most of the time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Leaving the park was a challenge as the fence was close to the road going out. I needed every inch to get my 73ft of motorhome and trailer around the corner so I could straighten out before the bridge. Being retired law enforcement I would stay there again. Very nice but crowded during the summer.

Beware

Paid up front, called to change/cancel 2 weeks in advance and was told I missed the cancellation date by "1 Day" ???? Hmmmmm ??? Stayed at KOA Which I highly recommend!!!
