Great park. Extra large spots. Nice walking trail along the river and quiet. The interpretive center is worth seeing.

Nice Tree Covered Park
We stayed in the Aspen loop site #24 (water/elec)first night and site #23 (full hookups) the second night. Rest rooms and showers nice and clean. The place was so nice we decided to stay a second night. Would stay here again. Had a little problem the second night with squatter in our site. Park ranger handled it nice and efficiently. Park has a nice dump station on Route in. All the site were paved and level. Plenty of space between camp sites. All the park personnel we interacted with were very friendly and nice to work with from the gate keeper, ladies at checkin/Discovery Center to Park Ranger. Only negative is no shower Curtain’s so water goes everywhere.

Awesome
We had a wedding to attend in Pullman before our trip to Montana decided to stay here for wedding weekend due to proximity. We were thrilled! We picked a full hookup site (only 10 there) the site was huge. Lots of shade trees short walk to river and hiking trails. Nice green grass. Clean bathrooms. Beautiful! We will definitely be returning for a longer stay. One tip you cannot check in earlier than 2 pm so be prepared to hang out if you show up earlier.

Hotter Than Hell
Was wondering where the name came from, it's definitely from the weather. Yikes! Spots close to the river, just a short walk down dusty trails. Grass is ok, not the best. Trees are awesome and huge! Tons of shade. River has a very slow current, great for paddle boarding. Some wildlife. Lots of people.

Very nice campground. Camp host and park staff were very friendly. Clean restrooms and showers. If you visit in July, be prepared for the heat. Upper 90's - 100's during the day. Cools down nicely at night and in the morning.
