Beautiful
What a beautiful park. Nice flat sites with long driveways. Lots of space between sites. Cleanest nicest restrooms/bathhouse I’ve ever been in!

GREAT State Park
We really enjoyed this location. Sites are spaced out nicely. Most sites have access to the lake to fish or kayak. Close to Mammoth Cave. Sites were level and clean! Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Camp Ground And Friendly Staff
My wife determined this was her favorite camp ground so far. Roomy lots. Clean facilities. Matt in maintenance was the best and helped us out when we needed something. Great place!

Stayed for 2 days and 1 night and it was 100% worth the price, not even that expensive, beautiful tent area over looking the lake. Super clean and super refreshing. Raccoons took stuff during the night tho so be careful of that!

We Loved It!
Pros: nice level lots very well maintained (grass was cut short) and no trash. The whole place was very clean. The lots were very good sized with lots of gravel. We were able to fit our 30 ft motorhome, our tow dolly, and our minivan on the lot with plenty of room to spare for setting up. We had a lake view spot and I cannot recommend that enough. The sunset over the water was breathtaking. The shower house was nice and clean. The park was good and in good shape. The spaces were very easy to back into, pretty much a straight shot back the way they were angled from the road. The stars were so bright I could have sat and watched them all night which is something you can't get close to big towns. The only con and it's barely a con for us is that it's a ways away from anything. I liked that because I prefer being out in nature but I could see it being a con for others.

This was a small well maintained campground. Direct access to the lake for power boats and kayaks was on site in addition to a well maintained sandy beach. Facilities were clean and there was a modern playground for kids. The only con was this site is off the beaten path. It is 30 to 40 minutes from any grocery stores.
