Mixed Reviews

I have mixed reviews about this place. Like the previous review stated from 2017 the restrooms were “Putrid”. Well, they haven’t changed. They are God aweful, taking your breath away! We didn’t use them but used our pop up camper toilet. Only problem with that is there isn’t a dump station. We dropped off our black water at another camp ground on the way home. That being said, this is still a great campground. Sites are huge, laid out so the campsites are not next to another campsite, but surrounded by woods on 3 sides. Many of the sites back up to the water on the lake which is real nice. It’s quiet with ample opportunities for star gazing. Beach is a short hike (or drive) within the park. The lake is a no wake lake which is great for canoeing and/or kayaking. I would highly recommend checking this campground out!

Horrible Restroom

We went fishing for the day, and were thinking about camping there until I had to use the restroom. I've been in some foul places at music festivals, but nothing prepared me for the miasma and fly infestation I encountered. So putrid, I couldn't even enter. Checked the other 2 outhouses in the camping area and they were just as bad. Unless you have a camper with facilities, I'd look elsewhere.
