Close To It All
Close to many hiking spots, kayaking and tubing spots. Park itself was great. Had a big open area for the kids to play at, not many toys but kids enjoyed it. Pool area was really nice. It was heated but still very cold. The sites were pretty sandy though there were many that had a concrete pad. Spent most of our days exploring the National Park.

Plush
$85/ngt on resort side, gated entry, bricklaid pads, manicured lawns, full hookups of course. Resort side definitely quieter, but the older RV park side had a "funner" more family feel. RV park looked to have some great areas for kids to play, friendly staff. Only downside: wifi was unattainable. Verizon: 2 bars

Great Experience! Very Clean & Friendly
Great campground, would definitely come back. Very clean, and very friendly staff. We took our 3 dogs and there was plenty of room for them around the campground for walks, and potty breaks. We were impressed how busy it was, and we didn’t think we were to close to our neighbors in our spot. We loved the nice new looking cement pad at very site! Trash was supposed to be out before 10am but someone always stopped at anytime to get ours when they saw a bag. Our only complaint is they allowed a commercial camper detailer to come in and power wash our neighbors campers and we had to listen to a generator run for a while and it was awful to listen to. Otherwise overall a great experience!

Lovely Place
People we very friendly. Lots were nice sized and nicely landscaped. Very close to Sleeping Bear sand dunes, so a good place to stay if going to the dunes.

Nice RV Park, Many Options For Campers
Park has many different sized lots and hookups - something for everyone. Sites are deep enough, and enough room on sides to be very comfortable. Some sites are grass / dirt, and others are gravel. Most have tall, mature trees.
Great location, close to Sleeping Bear, and short drives to many other great things - Pyramid Point, Leland....
We paid the extra money and stayed on resort side - beautiful! And very quiet. Not very busy. Sites are very large, all paved and very spacious. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our time here. The staff are terrific, everything is clean and well maintained. Things were so organized and quiet. Only negative comment is the WiFi. If the service is poor please don’t advertise you have WiFi. Overall had a great stay and plan to return in the future.

Great Location And Very Quiet
Beautifully kept RV Park. We Didn’t stay in the resort. Main building could use some paint. Staff is friendly. Close to empire, the state park and lots of beaches. It was very quiet and had a lot of spaces. My husband used the showers. He didn’t like having to pay .25 but said you didn’t run out of hot water and turn over was quickly because people get in and get out. It was a little more expensive but we used the pool and had a lovely time there. We spent 4 days and if we return to the area we will stay there again. We walked around the park, could bike, etc. We enjoyed sitting outside with no bugs and the cement pad with lunch table was awesome.

Not a ton of things to do for the kids like in many campgrounds but they do have the basics. This place is beautiful and the level stamped concrete pads define glamping.
Definitely recommend for the campground, friendly staff, and location in relation to sleeping bear

Excellent campground, quiet, clean and we'll kept. Street lights in campground were way too bright. Would have been OK if they were just shining straight down.

Very close sites. Our neighbors fire pit only 5 feet away from our RV. Smoke coming in RV. Closed all windows and couldn't turn on fan because it pulled in the smoke. Owners nice but just said sorry and did not do anything. Would not stay here again.

Nice Stay
This campground provided a great central location for exploring Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and surrounding communities of Empire, Glen Arbor, Leland, Northport, Suttons Bay, and Traverse City. They offer full hookup but we were only able to get electric & water for our spontaneous camping weekend. Be sure to take the time to do the Pierce Stocking Scenic drive, visit the village of Glen Haven, & watch a Lake Michigan sunset at Esch Rd. Beach. Closest grocery store is Glen Arbor or Traverse City. If you need wifi you will notice the lack of speed but who's here to have their nose stuck in a computer. Restrooms / showers were clean. Pool looks inviting. Pump out was easy to use. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Enjoyable stay at this quiet, pet friendly campground. $40/night for 30' camper w/water & electric

Not Impressed
We paid more than a state park for basically what I would expect from a state park, plus they charge for showers. In my opinion, the park looks a lot nicer on the internet web page than it appears in real life. It is apparent that they have invested a lot in store, pool and the new "RV Resort" but have neglected the rest. We would not stay there again.
