Stayed Here 9/18/2024
We decided to stay here mostly because there isn't much of anything else in the area of Little Bighorn where we wanted to go the next day. We don't usually pay anywhere near this much but it was good. We did laundry and took showers. Everything is very clean and neat. Nice sites with water and electric. Very dog friendly and a place to walk/run dogs in the field nearby. And yes, we got ice cream sandwiches when we pulled Cute touch! The road into the park is gravel and probably can b quite dusty but the day we arrived had been a rain storm so it was muddy. Passable of course but that mud stuck inside our wheel wells for weeks after! Camp host gentleman was super friendly! Would stay again

Great Stop Along The Road
Enjoyed an overnight stop here in June 2024. Run by a wonderful family. If you are visiting Little Bighorn Battlefield, this is the place to stay.

Highly recommend, clean, beautiful views, friendly staff. Free ice cream in evening and don’t miss out on the breakfast available to purchase in the morning. We had been on the road over 2 weeks and this was our favorite spot.

Ok
This is ok for a stop over. First you access it by means of a short gravel road, which can be quite dusty. The sites are gravel and we found not that level, contrary to some others reviews. It sufficed for an overnight stay.

Awesome Sunset
Beautiful campsite. We had a 30 ft fifth wheel and was placed in a pull through. Had a picnic table and mowed lawn in the front. There was awesome for my chihuahuas. Was greeted with ice cream bars. We choose huge ice cream bars. Nice level parking for trailer. Will be coming here again. So peaceful. Except the birds will wake you up early in the morning.

Wonderful Campground
Perfectly maintained grounds and bathhouse, the camp hosts are great, plus free ice cream upon arrival. Gravel sites, no grass, with a picnic table. Must arrive by 9pm before the gates close. We called and asked for a late arrival (9:30p) and they were very accommodating.

Great Place to Stay
My wife and I stopped here on our way from Yellowstone to Mount Rushmore and our stay was for 8 days as kinda of a rest stop since we had been on the road for 3 weeks, what a gem! This is without question one of the nicest and best campgrounds we have been to, Derek and Cheryl were awesome host as were the several other couples that shared the host duties, what a great family atmosphere, bon fires most nights, ice cream upon arrival and we had a pot luck Mexican night on Saturday evening and I believe the whole camp turned out, if you’re traveling in this area and don’t stop here you’re missing out on a great place to stop, oh and it’s actually part of the travel route of General Custer and is next to the battleground of Custers last stand, a must see!

Nice Campground
Very clean campground with nice people running it. We were offered ice cream when we checked in and escorted to our site. Sites are not all level, but close. There is some highway noise and a regular train goes through but neither were too bad. You do have to drive up a gravel road to get here; the interior roads of the CG are well maintained. Verizon internet was four bars and WiFi was free.

Amazing Campground & Staff!
Immaculately groomed terraced campground, trees offer ample shade at most sites or there are open treeless sites. You are allowed to wash your rig (very nice after hundreds of miles of bug splats and dust) Upon check-in your given tokens for a free ice cream treat and you are escorted to your site. It can get extremely windy in the early evening so don't leave your awnings out, store your chairs and close your ceiling vents. Lawns are watered nightly so don't leave anything out you don't want to get wet.

Wonderful place to stay! Reasonable price and quiet location. We caught a beautiful sunset! I wish we could have stayed more than one night. The owners were above and beyond genuine and friendly. Everything was clean. The playground had some discs and disc golf baskets which were a welcomed addition to the usual campground activities. Nice hiking trail up a hill to a flag and/or cross. (Where you go for views and sunsets!)

Lovely campground close to Little Bighorn National Monument. Roomy spaces on a hill with panoramic views. Sites are not totally level but campground hosts are good at directing you in the sites to get level. Great walk up the hill to the flag for a wonderful sunset view! Lovely landscaping, clean restrooms. Very well maintained! Would stay again. Not much close to campground so have the makings of dinner with you.

Convenient to Little Big Horn
Very helpful and friendly host. Showers and restrooms very clean and well maintained. Gravel sites aren't very level, but drain well in the rain without getting muddy. The dirt road leading up to the campground is another thing, though. Pot holes and ruts that are muddy and slippery in the rain, hard and rough when dry. No sewer hookups or dump station. I think 40 some odd dollars is a little high for not being able to dump. Water is very soft ... don't use much soap, and it's difficult to feel rinsed off. Also, though the water is safe to drink, because of the softness, it tastes pretty bad. Use bottled water for cooking, brushing teeth, drinking, etc. Only about a 10-15 min drive to Little Big Horn Battlefield Monument. Not 5 stars because of the road to the camp (which is not much more than their driveway ... it only leads to the camp), and no dump station.

Super place to stay. Whether for a night or a week! Clean, quiet, serene. Occasionally a train in the distance. It’s close to the highway but you can’t really hear it much. It’s about 3 miles off the highway by road so follow the signs.

We stopped here on our way to Butte, MT and were pleasantly surprised! We ended up extending for 2 extra days because we enjoyed ourselves so much. The staff was incredible and the grounds were in impeccable condition. Roads were easy to maneuver in and around the grounds. Our site was level, hookups were convenient, Good Sam discount, and short distance from Little Bighorn National Monument. Stopping here is highly recommended, we will be back!!

I would give this a 5 star if it had a dump....they have some w/e/s sites but also just w/e but no dump. Well maintained interior gravel roads, generous and level sites, shade trees, nice landscaping. Clean. Quiet. Playground for kids. Great location for touring Big Horn Battlefield. Will stay again.

And the free ice cream when we signed in was the perfect touch. We were able to get some satellite tv stations. Would stay here again.
