Scenic with hiking, swimming & paddling
Nice lake to swim and paddle, and some hiking trails. We didn't hike due to lots of rain, but we squeezed in a paddle and short swim. Sites are basic and spacious for 2 tents and parking a truck and have shade, picnic table and fire ring. Water faucets and clean pit toilets scattered throughout, and 1 garbage location. Some sites require a short hike to access but most have the car right there. Small store with very basics. No electric, showers or washer/dryer.
Sites: some more private while others open view to other campers. some waterfront, others tucked into woods, other more open.
Scenery: 4-5 stars depending on your site
Privacy: 2-4
Amenities: 4
Noise: 4 not including guest noise, the park is quiet although a nearby wind farm is upwind, meaning there is sometimes a swooshing sound from the turbines. I am not a "white noise" kind of person but it was not bothersome. If you like white noise, it would surely be ok.
