Fine Park
With a senior pass, this park is only $12 with electric. A deal. We did not use the facilities. I welcome that the dump station and the potable water fill are not located together.

Clean And Well MIntained
But just a park. Beautiful sunsets. Patrolled by rangers and staff. No problems. We had class a rv so did not use facilities.

Not The Usual COE Park
335 sites and 98 electric no water at sites. Only electric loops are Hickory and Maplewood. Senior pass and only worth the 1/2 price! Have been in hundreds of Corps Parks and this is the worst! Only 2 bathrooms with showers that happen to be in the primitive loops, Buckeye and Aspen. All bathrooms have no hot water. Some sites were kinda muddy and standing water in ditches. I gave one star because of paved roads however, the aprons at site entrances had big drop offs to the gravel. The office check in girl said there were no campground maps and another person found a big stack under the counter! She couldn’t direct us to our site and seemed to know zip about the campground layout! Very few sites are level and only shade in Hickory, we had site 46 there, nice! Don’t be fooled by the sites with water view, very noisy watercraft and smelly exhaust! The big 4 hole dump station was closed and another new one with 2 holes is nice and way out by entrance with no portable water.
