Restful Stopover
Small, newer park that doesn't have all the amenities yet (a bathhouse for example). But a lovely location between two rolling fields with most of the sites clustered in a grove of old juniper trees. Mostly long-term residents like highway construction workers, but the owner saves several very nice, pull-through sites for travelers. Mine came complete with a gorgeous sunset behind a little pond. Quiet. Clean. Easy to find from I-77, but the park sign is inconspicuous. Doesn't matter -- the park owner meets you on the main road and leads you into the park and right to your site. I recommend it for a stress-reducing stopover.
