Waiting out the Wind
We left Fort Worth on Monday morning January 8th 2024 in our truck camper. The further west we drove the more wind we encountered. We parked against the curb in the east side of the lot around 2pm. Other campers and semi trucks started to show up. I went into WalMart to pick up some supplies. Walked the dog and cleaned up after her. It was quiet and comfortable. The wind died down around 4am and we hit the road. Good Times. I appreciate WalMart for letting travelers stay in their lot.

A bit Noisy, But Free!
We rode in at about 4:00. Had called to confirm RV’s can park overnight. Yes! They Explained to park at the curb furthest from the store. We did as we were told. Shopped and people were friendly. Traffic was load, but with some Nyyyquil.. it was perfect!

Quieter Than A Truck Stop.
We rolled in late at night and found five other RVs and camping trailers there. You can hear the freeway noise but it is quieter than a truck stop. We had a good sleep and continued on our way in the morning.

Not The Largest Wal-Mart parking lot
But it works. We pulled in about 4:30 pm and didn't see any other rigs. I shopped for about an hour and there was another moho in the lot. By 7 pm there were 5. A bit of highway noise, but not too bad.
